Distinction Christchurch Hotel

Excellent location in the centre of the city, opposite of the Cathedral and near the tourist tram, the shuttle buses stop and shopping centres. Very clean room with good windows isolation. Nice and helpful staff.

The Distinction Hotel was an excellent choice for my husband and me who came to attend a week long conference. At the centre of the city, a few minutes walk from Te Pae, it was also very close to the shopping district, cafes, the art museum, the earthquake museum. art centre and the riverside market. Our room was very comfortable, the servicing of the room was excellent and staff at the desk and in the restaurant were great, cheerful, welcoming, helpful. We commend in particular the excellent breakfast buffet.

Simplicity, stylish, comfortable, and the quietness on the 10th floor (Room 1004) The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu choices were plentiful and delicious and so artistically presented. The staff, from mature Gracie to a new French addition, Margot, were ever so helpful and professional. We were made to feel extremely welcome on arrival, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were cheerful and very friendly. We dropped off our bags early, as we arrived in the morning, and when we came back in the afternoon to check in, they had already taken our bags up to our room, which was great! We were on 9th floor, and had amazing views over the city. The room was spacious, and comfortable, and immaculately clean. Had the best nights sleep I've had when staying away, as the bed was so comfortable! The bathroom was a good size, and again, very clean. The dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch of luxury! Really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this location to others as it's very close to all the key city attractions, and very quiet, considering it's in the centre,

Sensational location, amazing stay. Small details in our superior family suite made all the difference such as spacious and clean rooms, blue light in the bathroom overnight perfect to reassure children, robes and slippers, valet parking. Whisper quiet- I didn't hear any other guests over our two night stay. Courteous and friendly staff. Couldn't rate this hotel more highly. Wish we could have stayed longer.
